This summer, writer/comedian Wayne Lammers produced and directed a 17-minute musical documentary film on New York's famous Carnegie Deli.  The focus is on the great food of course, but no punches are pulled lampooning the huge portions, the colorful owners (Milton Parker & Sandy Levine) and employees, the chaos, the long lines going down the block, and the waiters scowling at tourists and celebrities alike.  With Wayne's lyrics, Pete Levin wrote and produced 6 songs for the video.  The hands down favorite is the Menu Song, a spirited Russian dance in which Wayne sings as many menu items as he can fit into 60 seconds. (Hear it via streaming Realaudio connection further on.)   The video will be running on TV monitors in the restaurant and out front to entertain the folks waiting to get in - probably by mid-November 1999.  They plan to have souvenir VHS copies for sale at the Deli.

The next few pages have lots of photos.  They're all fairly small, but loading each page might take longer than you'd like it to.  I'm just telling you.  Streaming Realaudio links for some of the songs from the video are on the last page.
