This recent film project, ZELIMO, is a low budget indie film set in the 50s about a young boy who escapes from Russia with his family and settles in New York City and the Catskills.  It's not truly a horror film, but has elements of that, including some very intense and surrealistic scenes, which I scored accordingly.
Because of the location and ethnicity of the story and characters, much of the score and source music is modal and stylistically Russian - not what I usually do, but appropriate for this film.
Zelimo is scheduled for DVD and some theatrical release sometime in the winter of 2006.
Below are mp3s of some of the more intense orchestral/electronic cues and a few of the thematic cues and songs.
