Percussion: 3 congas
Guitar: Single amp, miked.
Hammond Organ: Leslie speaker, 3 mics (2 high and 1 low)
Organ bass: Bass amp, miked or direct out of the amp.
Bass: (Not the same amp) Mic amp or take the bass direct. Bass player
will use different instruments.
Announce mic at organ (no singing) on boom stand
Monitors:For a theatrical concert stage or
large club: 4 wedges (at organ, guitar, drums, percussion positions)
with individual mixes if possible
For smaller clubs and stages: 2 wedges (at drums,
percussion positions) with individual mixes
* It needs to taken case by case, but for most
small club stages the trio won't need monitors at all.
Back line:
Organ:
Hammond B-3, C-3 or A-100 - A vintage, tube preamp Hammond,
not a modern Suzuki-Hammond.
Leslie speaker, model 122. A vintage, tube amp Leslie, not
a modern Suzuki-manufactured Leslie.
Bench: Matching Hammond bench seat or equivalent seat
* In locations where a Hammond or Leslie is
unavailable or a one night rental cost is out of proportion, Pete may be
traveling with a portable instrument that will cover the situation.
This means special equipment and setup needs, and must be discussed and
agreed upon way ahead of time.
