10/13  Teatro Politeama, Prato.  Beautiful, old theater in the old part of this city - unfortunately with a beautiful slap-back echo.  We use in-ear monitors that effectively block out room sound.  They did a good job of that tonight.  Tony has been working on his Italian.  At this point he's doing most of the speaking to the audience in Italian, and we can see they're appreciating it.
We stopped for lunch on the way to the venue, which turned out to be a multi-course feed at a wonderful restaurant, La Bussola da Gino.  Tired from the trip and looking ahead at a long work day, we had to pass on a lot of the wine that was flowing, but passing on pasta in Italy is not even to be considered.  There was a ravioli stuffed with something very good in what I think was a sauce made from local squash.  Oh boy!
